Your Files on the 'Cloud'

Have you ever heard of cloud computing? For most of you, this might be true. But for some, maybe not. I use these services, to store files on the net for free!!.

Why in the world would you store your files on the net, you might ask.
With this services, you can view, edit or have access to all of your files where ever you go, as long as you have internet connection. This means that you can save your documents from your office PC, go back home, power up your trusty notebook, netbook, or even your iphone or any other smartphones you may have, and you will instantly have access to that document you saved back at the office. No need for portable data storage like usb flash drive or portable hard drive that could easily get damaged for the sake of mobility.

I personally use SkyDrive. For 'veterens', they give 25GB of free online storage.

upload pic from mobile to fb

1. Go to the picture in your cellphone which you wish to send to Facebook.
2. Select either the Send as email or Email photo function in the menu on your cellphone.
3. When a new message appears (with the selected photo attached), key in mobile@facebook.com in the ‘To:’ Textbox.
4. Key in the title of your photo in the subject column.
5. Choose ‘Send’.
6. Once your cellphone receives an email of notification from Facebook, you will receive a code or password.
7. Check that you are logged onto your Facebook account and go to Facebook
8. On the right side, under 'Get Started', Click on the Upload Image From Mobile.
9. Look for the Beneath the ‘Already have a confirmation code’ and click.
10. Key in your password when prompted with ‘Input the code you received in your email’ and ‘Confirm’.

Web Hosting and Domain Registration Made Easy

If you are like me, internet is a very important thing. Creating your present is, joining communities like friendster, facebook and stuff. Also jotting your journey in life through wordpress and blogger.

But for some people, having just that is not enough. They want to be really visible on the internet.

Thus, domain name registration is very important. This means that people can have their out '.com' which is pretty cool.

This also means, they can link up their domain with any content hosting on the internet. They can switch service providers with no hassle, yet maintain their internet identities.

It's Pay Day!! And.. what r u doing with ur money??
I'm sure for most of you.. it's time to go shopping!!

I'm not against that entirely, but just a friendly reminder, Make a Budget!

In this post, I'd like to share a new service provided by maybank. But this is strictly for Malaysian's 'bumipitera'. So, for those concerned, please do check it out.

A new service via Maybank2u. You can now purchase ASB units. The catch is, you have to pay RM1 per transaction.

It's quite reasonable, considering you could skip long queue at the banks.

How to do it??

It takes 3 steps to get it done. But lets start from the beginning, shall we.. :D

First of all, log on to the system..



















The homepage will be displayed upon successful access to the system. (If you got problem with this, please contact Maybank2u directly.)

Here, select Investment (highlighted in yellow box)





Next, select ASNB Unit Trust (also highlighted)










You will be directed to a Declaration page. Tick the check box below and click next.

















This is where the actual "3 steps" begin.
You'll need to key in the amount of unit you wanted to buy (in case anyone ask, 1 unit equals RM1.. :D)
Next, select which account would you like to transfer money from. (This applies only for those with multiple MBB accounts)
Then, key-in your ASB membership number.
After that, u need to click on the drop-down menu to select the product name, which happens to be, the one and only, Amanah Saham Bumiputera.
You'll need to clik continue afterwards.
Step "2 of 3" is where you'll need to provide TAC, to confirm your identity. Once requested, the TAC will be send directly to your mobile phone. As soon as you've recieved your TAC and entered to the system, you'll need to click the confirm button.














The final step "3 of 3" should display a Successful message, which look like something like this.

This means, your'e done. :D

Now that you've secured your future, you can finaly go out. :D

Ever wondered what the time is?? Clocks are everywhere, but how accurate are they?? They say, the best clock in the world is the atomic clock. They calculate by the milliseconds,.

The mechanism, they use "caesium oscillator" which calculate "a second as the duration of 9,192,631,770 cycles of radiation corresponding to the transition between two energy levels of the ground state of the caesium-133 atom".

In layman's term, it is a very precise clock!!

"Time is precious, and accurate timekeeping is vital to everyday Malaysian life, as well as to international and high technology activities. On August 5, 1992, the Malaysian Cabinet appointed the National Metrology Laboratory to be the national timekeeper.

The national atomic time scale is established and maintained using five Caesium atomic clocks, two of which are high performance and three of which are standard performance. These five atomic clocks are compared to one another in order to detect any abnormality or instability. One of the clocks is designated as the reference clock. By virtue of its participation in the International Bureau of Weights and Measures GPS common view time transfer, the Malaysian atomic timescale is traceable to the International Atomic Timescale."

ASB Loan Calculator - Bagus ke Pinjaman ASB ???

Most recently, banks such as RHB, Maybank, CIMB have actively introducing financing to support the interest of investing in ASB unit trust.
Most posts on blogs suggested that investment using borrowed money is high risk and simply put, not worth it.

I myself have borrowed money to invest. Perhaps, I'm not the expert to talk about this, but for me, a high risk investment is far better than no investment at all.
